While getting my IV fluids today, I brought along my Craftsy.com project. In the 4 hrs it took to get me re-tanked, I got a lot done despite the fact that I forgot my thread. (found some embroidery floss in my purse) My son, Jon, brought my thread to me before he went to work so that I could continue. Here is what I got done and also a few pics I took of the room I was in.
What a great way to turn the whole thing into a positive and creative experience! =D
I spend so much time getting IVs and I don’t really enjoy watching TV there so I bring other things to keep me busy. I am usually there for at least 4 hrs, sometimes longer. Handwork is great to take along for these frequent visits to the local hospital.
